They are young, pretty, beautiful, determined and driven by their dreams. Few years back, they made inroads into Ghana Movie Industry and as 2014 berthed, they are poised to take Ghallywood by storm! Today, GhLinks brings you the hottest fast rising actresses that will define the end of Year.

1. Bibi Bright
Though, she’s been in the movie industry since 2011, the actress known as Bibi Bright finally got her breakthrough after she had a role in a TV series called ‘Missed Call’.

Her film credits also include ‘Please Marry Me, Traced, Hoodlums, House Party, Leave my Wife, My Home, Love steal, Swagger Babes, My Taxi Driver’ among others.

She was recently nominated in the Best New Actress at the City People Entertainment Awards 2014.

2. Kisa Gbekle






Fast rising actress, Kisa  is definitely a force to reckon with as year ends, she made her first debut into the movie industry in the year 2012 starring in a movie dubbed Stand By Me.

Among others she has starred in movies like Accra Runs, Accra Hustler , 8PM ,Alvina and The Will to mention a few. Kisa is currently the toast of many producers who see her as the next biggest thing in Ghallywood.

She was recently nominated in the Best New Actress at the City People Entertainment Awards 2014.

3. Salma Mumin


 Though, she hit the limelight after  starring in Passion and Soul, Salma started her movie career four years back with Venus films productions and through that she landed a role in a movie called passion and soul with AA Production. Since many movie markers wanted her to grace their bed before they give her roles, she decided to stay off the screen to concentrate on her education till her friend called Olivia mends introduced her to Kobi Rana .

Early this year she won the best promising actress which was organised Papyrus Magazine Screen Actors Awards (PAMSAA) and also nominated for this year city peoples award.

4. Nana Akua Addo.



Talk about brains and beauty in one package and you talk about Nana Akua Addo,Miss Malaika 2003 second runner-up.

She has  featured  movies including Believe Me, Hidden Passion, Crazy Scandal, Breaking the Rules and Destiny’s Child.
 Since the release of her self produced movie, her career has been on a trajectory for the top and won the just ended City People Entertainment Awards 5 edition as the Best New Actress

Nana Akua is determined to excel in her acting career – advising others “to do something that you enjoy doing, it gives you that inner joy and satisfaction.”

5. Chichi Neblett




She recently got a nomination for the Best New Actress in Ghana with the actress above at the 5th Edition of City Peoples Award and as 2014 unfolds, she is poised to take her game to the next level.

The mother of one has been in Ghana’s movie industry for the last nine years. She made it official in 2005 when she had the opportunity to feature in AA Production’s ‘Puncher Hole
’.
She is known for her roles in Venus Film’s ‘Reason To Kill,’ ‘Mummy’s Daughter,’ ‘4play,’ ‘Who Loves Me,’ ‘Kiss My Tears,’ ‘Hot Romance,’ ‘Death After Birth’ etc.

She was in 2012 casted for Shirley Frimpong Manso’s directed TV series ‘The Peeps’ and other award winning local soap operas.
