19 year old Eirene Nsudoon Binabiba , an undergraduate of the University of Ghana ,in the wee hours of sunday , crowned winner of this year’s Miss Malaika beauty pageant held at the National Theater.
She shot pass nine other hopefuls ,Anita, Ann, Cynthia, Ivy, Joyce, Stephanie, Kathylyn, Sharon and Mina after months of intensive grooming and a night of fashion, beauty, brains and entertainment in front of a packed audience.
Eirene also picked home the Miss Talent award on the night. Joyce Ayeh and Sharon Davidor came first and second runners up respectively.
Apart from the beauty and brains on display on the night, the night also witnessed what was described as electrifying performances from fastest growing Dancehall act, MzVee, E.L. and Edem. Judges for the night were musician Stephanie Benson, PaJohn Bentsifi Dadson, Theresah Ayoade, Chris Attoh and Sandra Ankobiah.
