Baah-Bentum (Retd), stated that as an academic institution, the school conducted its affairs in a meticulous and professional manner and that using social media platforms to condemn and speculate on the issue was not their way of solving the problem.<br /> <br /> Mr Baah-Bentum disclosed that the welfare of its students was of paramount importance and “we, therefore, refuse to be a part of the current social commentary occasioned by mere sentiments and feelings.”<br /> <br /> He asked for sympathy from the general public for the young lady and her family in these trying times and added that the family obviously required privacy as they went through the current challenges.<br /> <br /> Background<br /> <br /> A nude video of a UCC student, Abena Korkor Addo, believed to be contesting the position of the President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) went viral about a week ago on social media.<br /> <br /> A few minutes after the video went viral, another video was released of the girl accepting responsibility for the earlier video on her social media pages.<br /> <br /> She was picked up by her parents days after the incident.<br /> <br /> Source :Graphic Online
