After Beck won album of the year at the awards ceremony on Sunday, Kanye West claimed that he should have given his gong to Beyoncé and that doesn’t sit well with rapper, 50 Cent. According to the ‘Window Shopper’ hitmaker, ‘Beck wrote and produced his own hits on Morning Phase while Beyonce needed plenty of help on her self-titled album. ‘[Beck] produced [his]ord, wrote the record – there’s 11 producers on Beyoncé’s album,’ 50 Cent said and added: ‘Kanye being a producer and writer should see that.’ As far as 50 Cent is concerned, he has been forced to lose graciously in the past, like when Evanescence beat him to the best new artist at the Grammys in 2004. ‘I felt I deserved Best New Artist for my first album. It’s the largest debut in rap with 13million records sold. When’s the last time you saw Evanescence?’ he asked rhetorically.  West has since sheepishly back-pedalled on the incident, insisting he was ‘mis-worded’. ‘When I said ‘respect artistry’, it came off the wrong way, and that was a mis-wording on my part because Beck is one of the most respected artists,’ he said.

This Sunday, February 
8, 2015, the stars will once again gather at L.A.’s Staples Center for 
the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. The seating chart for Music’s Biggest 
Night has been revealed and shows where A-listers like Prince, Taylor 
Swift, and Madonna will be seated. 
 
Hip-hop’s royal couple, Beyoncé and Jay Z, will hold court in the front 
row, with Stevie Wonder and Common behind them. Four-time nominee and 
performer, Usher scores a prime aisle seat in front of his pal, Chris 
Brown while Rick Ross is just a few seats away. 
 
Before he hits the stage to perform ‘FourFiveSeconds’ with Rihanna and 
Paul McCartney, Kanye West will be front and centre with his wife, Kim 
Kardashian, with John Legend and Mary J. Blige just feets away. 
 
Fresh off her Super Bowl performance, Katy Perry will rub shoulders with
 the one-and-only Prince in the front row. Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett 
are cheek to cheek and the legendary Madonna and Paul McCartney are side
 by side. 
 
 Taylor Swift will be the center of attention as she cheers on her peers 
including Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, and Ed Sheeran while Gwen Stefani 
will get to catch up with fellow ‘Voice’ coach Adam Levine.

Hosted by LL Cool J, the 57th Annual Grammy Awards air live Sunday at 8 
p.m. EST on CBS.
