British actor Idris Elba could be the first black James Bond, according to more leaked e-mails from Sony Pictures. “Idris should be the next Bond,” Sony Pictures chief Amy Pascal wrote nearly a year ago in an e-mail to Elizabeth Cantillon, a former executive vice president at Columbia Pictures. The leaked e-mail, reported by the Daily Beast, is from a trove of private e-mails, salary reports and bits of script and rough footage swiped and released by hackers believed to be from North Korea. Current Bond actor Daniel Craig is signed on to one more “James Bond” installment, “Spectre,” due out on Nov. 5, 2015. But Craig has been trying to ditch the role since he agreed to star in the secret-agent flicks. “I’ve been trying to get out of this from the very moment I got into it. But they won’t let me go, and I’ve agreed to do a couple more, but let’s see how this one does, because business is business, and if the s–t goes down, I’ve got a contract that somebody will happily wipe their ass with,” Craig told the Daily Beast in 2012.
