2014 Ghana Movie Awards came off on Tuesday, 30 December 2014 at the Accra International Conference Center to award actors and movie makers who have helped the movie industry in the year under review. The event was well attended by industry stakeholders and fans of the movie industry.<br />
<br />
Winners on the night included Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin, Rose Mensah aka Kyeiwaa, Shirley Frimpong Manson, Eddie Watson, Kalybos, Adjetey Annan, Joselyn Dumas and many others. <br />
<br />
In attendance at the 5th edition of the awards were Majid Michel, Jackie Appiah, John Dumelo, Yvonne Nelson, James Gardiner, Sandra Ankobia, Juliet Ibrahim, Super OD, Grace Omaboe aka Maame Dokono and other actors.<br />
<br />

At last Sunday’s Kumawood and Akoben Film Festival held at the Golden Tulip in Kumasi, Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin picked the Best Actor In Supporting Role with the movie “Had I Known”.<br />
<br />
In his acceptance speech, the comic actor shocked the patrons as he spoke the Queen’s language to thank people who have contributed to his success as an actor.<br />
