Upcoming actress Moesha Boduong is celebrating her birthday today and she has shared some pictures and video with her fans that have been flooding her social media pages with birthday wishes.<br />
<br />
In a brief interview with Peacefmonline.com this morning, the actress disclosed that she said a long prayer immediately she woke up and headed to Pokuase in Accra, where she spent some time with orphans with a number of her friends.<br />
<br />
Moesha together with her friends shared food, drinks, danced and spent some time with the less privileged children. According Moesha she donates to needy children every year during Christmas and on her birthday.<br />
<br />
Asked what her birthday wish is Moesha said “I want to be bigger and be an award winning actress someday and a role model to others and I ask for God’s guidance as am becoming a woman”.<br />
<br />
She also wishes for good health for her father who has been sick for some time now.<br />
<br />
Among those that supported Moesha was Actor and Comedian Kalybos, who attempted to do the shoki dance with Moesha.<br />

She may look relatively new on the Ghana movie scene but actress Moyesha Boduong is one who cannot go unnoticed in movies such as A Sting in a Tail, Die With Me, Blood line, Vi times, Yvonne’s Tears, Hostage, Vultures of Horror, The Last Part and Mysterious Girls.<br /><br />In real life, her picture poses and appearances at showbiz events are “show stoppers” thanks to her unusually body shape. Her big butt is especially noticeable.<br /><br />“It is not as if I do those poses or wear dresses to bring my curves out intentionally, the truth is that, there is nothing I can do about it”, she told Showbiz.<br /><br />I can’t hide these curves and if you can’t hide something, the best thing to do is to appreciate and flaunt it just as the Bible says that everything God created is beautiful.<br /><br />You can’t hide what is beautiful. It is loving one’s body and that is one thing that I always keep in mind. It is part of my body and if I don’t love and appreciate it, no one will,” she told Showbiz.<br /><br />In an interview with Moesha who returned to Ghana last week after a movie shoot in Nigeria, she disclosed that even though her curves serve as a compliment, at other times she receives certain attentions she is not comfortable with.<br /><br />“Sometimes the kind of attention I get from people, guys especially, when I attend events or go to the beach is undesirable. Because of how enticing I look in these dresses, some men come to me with certain requests and demands which do not go down well with me.<br /><br />“Recently I went to the beach to cool off so I wore a bikini. As I was walking along the shore, I got guys who actually wanted to touch my bum and for me it was very embarrassing and I resolved not to wear bikini anymore,” she said.<br />

<br /><br />“On the flip side, this butt and curves have earned me some good deals from some fashion designers who think I possess the kind of image they want out there. Because of my stature, everything I wear look good on me and it also got me some movie roles as well,” she added.<br /><br />She disclosed that, she did not go through any special work sessions to get the kind of curves she has as other women do. “No I don’t go through any special workout to have this curves but that doesn’t mean I don’t work out. I do because I need to stay healthy”.<br /><br />Talking about her movie career she said; “so far so good. It has not been all rosy, I have had my share of disappointments. It was not easy for me to break through but with God on my side, hard work and the never giving up spirit, I am making it. But I believe the journey has just began and we will get there.”<br /><br />According to Moyesha, she has always wanted to act but she took it seriously as a career two years ago. She is a graduate of the University of Ghana, Legon where she studied Theatre Arts.<br /><br />She described herself as principled, God fearing, fun to be with and is guided by the principle that, “whatever you find yourself doing, do it diligently because you may never know who is watching.<br />

Ghanaian Actresses Vicky Zugah and Moesha Bodoung have shed more light on the much- talked-about ‘sex for movie roles’ in the Ghanaian movie industry, by saying that; over 10 producers/directors had asked her for sex in order to get in over the course of her acting career.<br /><br />According to her, some years back, she used to talk against the act, but it got to a time she realized it was not something worth talking about anymore because, it happens in all sectors, but more pronounced in the entertainment industry.<br /><br />“Some years back I use to mention names of the film makers involved in that and anytime I spoke against it, I mentioned names of some producers on air, but for now, I don’t think it’s something that I really have time to speak about again,” she said.<br /><br />She lamented to Razz Newspaper Reporter Mustapha Inusah that, she was sidelined many times by producers/directors for not giving in to their demands and also for speaking against it on media platforms.<br /><br />To Vicky Zugah, she doesn’t believe the act is going to stop now since, producers still ask actresses to sleep with them for roles. She explained that sleeping with producers does not warrant an actress a role, so any actress who sleeps with a producer for a role will be making a big mistake.<br /><br />“If you are not good in acting and you are only good for sex, you will be dumped by the producer after the act, because don’t forget, most producers are business men and they are looking at also investing into where they can make their money back,” she revealed.<br /><br />In a separate chat with Ghanaian aspiring model and actress Moesha Boduong who has been through lot of film auditions and starred in a couple of movies, she said that: so far, only (2) two film producers have asked to sleep with happy wheels demo her for roles.<br /><br />“Some of them will not ask you directly but others will do. It’s normal and some of us have become used to it, but since I know my left and right in the industry, I don’t give in,” she said. She added that, her current situation does not authorize her to mention names for publication, but she can do that in confidence.<br /><br />The Film Producers Association of Ghana has made it known to Razz Newspaper that they have not yet received any official complaint to confirm how authentic the allegations are.<br /><br />Mustapha Inusah/Razz Bft Newspaper
