The trailer for the highly anticipated short movie “Kalybos in China” 
starring Richard Asante (Kalybos), and the “love” of his life, Priscilla
 Agyemang (Ahuof3 Patri), is finally out.<br />
<br />
The movie which is set to premiere at the Silverbirds cinemas at the 
Accra Mall and West Hills Mall on April 3, sees the web skit star doing 
everything in his power to impress his love, Ahuofe Patri.<br />
<br />
The movie directed by Kofi Asamoah was shot at locations in China and Ghana and directed by Kofi Asamoah.<br />
<br />
Also starring in the movie is Christabel Ekeh, David Dontoh, Mikki Osei Berko, Nikki Samonas, John Dumelo and many more.<br />

Perhaps following Kim Kardashian‘s unveiling of her new ‘blonde’ hair-do at the Paris Fashion week, Ghanaian actress and bikini queen, Nikki Samonas has unleashed her own blonde look.<br />

Either as a manner of imitating the American TV personality or keeping in line with her fashion routine, it is unclear but Nikki took to Instagram to show off her new blonde hair.<br />

 Ahead of what promises to be an exciting full feature debut, the 
producers, KOFAS Media, have released the title’s official poster, 
announcing the premiere date.<br />

 Shot on location in China and Ghana and starring Richard Asante 
(Kalybos), Priscilla Agyemang (Ahuof3 Patri), Christabel Ekeh, David

Of what relevance to society is my grandmother who happens to be in her late seventies? Sorry to say but her breast is sagging and drooping, sometimes I imagine she has to literally kick them out of her way to walk a short distance. <br /><br />The reality check is that most old women who happen to be in a similar age category as my granny face such ‘natural landslides’, it is normal. The question then becomes, is this all they have to offer to society?<br /><br /><br />I do not think I am the only person who gets sick whenever I see or hear these home grown ‘Rihannas’and ‘Soweto ladies’ speak. I sometimes wonder which is bigger their teats or their brains. <br /><br />Do not get me wrong here, I absolutely stand for women empowerment, in fact as a UN Women ambassador for HeForShe campaign, one of the things I often stand up for are women who are suppressed or abused. <br /><br />Unfortunately, one of the few things I shall never stand up for, are women who misinform and misdirect our young ones about what womanhood is all about. <br /><br />Women who think they can make lasting impact in society by stripping whenever the opportunity presents itself. I recently listened to one of our homegrown Rihannas on a popular radio station defending what was obviously an obscene outfit she wore to a social gathering. “Why did you dress like that to expose all those parts,” the host asked. <br /><br />She responded, “All I have are my breasts, so I decided to show it to the world to attract attention,” she gladly responded without a shrewd of guilt. No wonder Einstein once said, “Thinking is a difficult job that is why only few people engage in it.”<br /><br /><br />Let me say that indeed she has caught my eye with that crass of a dress and I believe the attention of millions of Ghanaians as well and this attention has informed my decision to hide my six year old daughter from her likes. I would rather prefer my daughter to grow up in a society where she can look up to women of substance such as Shirley Frimpong Manso who has demonstrated over and over again that you do not have to strip naked to attract the attention of the world.<br /><br /> She has demonstrated to our young and upcoming women that it takes more than the outer shell of a human being to make a lasting impact in society. She obviously has demonstrated to the world that her brains are much more bigger than her teats.<br />

Perhaps I need to show more of my ‘sakkorra chest’ and ‘flattened buttocks’ to gain international attention and boost my google, facebook and youtube traffic. Maybe that’s all I also have to offer as well but you see, what then happens to my relevance to society seventy years down the line when I am as old as my granny is today. Of what use shall the likes of Nikki and the ‘Obama hit maker’ have in society when ‘Darwin’s Evolution’ catches up with them. Someone might want to explain ‘Darwin’s Evolution’ to them. I do not think they have ever given it a thought. Yes, I am being as candid as I can because the impacts of their actions on our young ones are enormous and far reaching. Being on the screens demands responsibility and if they shall not take up that mantle of responsibility, I shall forcefully place it in their bras. Did I just say this? I simply cannot stand aloof and watch a few bad nuts destroy our moral fabric by actively promoting live porn in the media, to say the least. Think whatever you want to think, this is Ghana. If you disagree, perhaps you need a ticket to Saudi Arabia, Iran or China. Choose one; I shall buy you the ticket. Hahahaha. I now sound like that politician.<br /><br />On a serious note, lest I forget, it is never too late to turn a new leaf, we are all bound to make mistakes at a point in time and do not expect society to crucify us. I would rather want to assume these young ladies are honestly doing this crazy stuff in the name of modeling or show business because they are simply ignorant.<br />
<br />
 I hope they quickly see the sense in living a life that adds to society and not rather destroy what society has built. I hope they see the sense in what I am saying. Women like Emma Watson, Rosa Parks, and Michelle Obama, just to mention a few have all demonstrated that you do not have to walk in town with the visible inscriptions on your forehead, “anything goes” before the world recognizes your efforts.<br /><br />My grandmother may be in her seventies but I am proud she doesn’t allow her drooping chest or upended breasts to determine her importance and relevance to society.<br />
<br />
Even at that age, she owns several farms and brings meaning to the lives of others through employment. Yes she doesn’t destroy society, she adds positively to society. Let us all learn these lessons very early in life especially my sisters, you have more to offer than your body and looks which is bound to display the appearance like that of my granny fifty years down the line.<br />
<br />
 This is depreciation 101 and there is nothing wrong with that. Do not buy that junk you always see on the screens, it is great you are beautiful but our bodies are more valuable than bikinis and semi nude pictures. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Let us therefore present our bodies as living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God. Let us manifest the glory of God in our bodies.<br /><br />“Who are you to critique these ‘Rihannalike’ ladies like that?” That is if they are ladies in the first place!!! Someone may demand. I was not surprised to hear another popular so called ‘movie star’ defend this sickening attitude engulfing our society when she said, this is freedom and democracy everybody does what pleases them. I highly subscribe to her line of reasoning.<br />
<br />
Of course this is democracy, and if you think as a public figure; you can set bad precedence for the millions of children who are looking up to you, what makes you think I do not have the freedom to wield the power of my pen to influence millions of people positively. After all we all have our freedom, Don’t we?

Ghanaian actress Nikki Samonas says she likes to flaunt her boobs 
since they are small and “it’s easier to do that when they are small 
than when they are heavy”.<br />

The Ghanaian actress and model Nikki Samonas speaking on the “Let’s 
Talk Entertainment” Show on Multi TV,  talked about her career and 
fashion in the movie industry.<br />

“My boobs are trending…you can’t even wear a bikini when they are 
heavy”, she said. According to the actress who is a well known face in 
the showbiz industry, small boobs fit perfectly in bikinis than heavy 
boobs. The actress also said, she strongly disagrees with the fact that 
people think actresses and actors are expensive and like competition.<br />
<br />

“People just seem happy about the things they acquire or achieve and I think they like to tell the world or share it”.<br />
<br />

For her, she says, when she enters a diamond shop and tries on a 
diamond ring which probably will cost 2 millon, takes a picture of it 
and puts it on instagram, it is not because she wants to flaunt it,  but
 just to have fun. “If you buy a new dress and you wear it, you feel 
good and comfortable in it, you will like to show it or flaunt it; this 
is part of girls mostly and even the guys do it”.<br />
<br />

The actress whose career started as a model said acting was actually 
not her dream: “I never decided to go into acting, I was handpicked.”<br />
<br />

Nikki  started modeling with Tigo, then followed on with some other modeling agencies; and then moved to Venus films.<br />
<br />

Her acting career started with the movie “Beyonce” after the popular 
television series “Things we do for love” and “Ladies and Gentlemen”.  
She says, that was how her acting skills were discovered.<br />

The actress stated that it wasn’t her thirst for fame that got her connected to the black stars.<br />

“First of all let me correct this, I have a management, they promote,
 characterize and brand me. So most of the things that come out are not 
necessarily my ideas or thoughts”, she said. She told Showbiz, people 
should not blame her for some of the things they see or her out there 
about her.<br />

The actress believes her small body frame gives her the chance to 
experiment with fashion, basically because for her, “everything just 
fits.” “Fashion is, ‘if I see it and I like it I try it on, I flow with 
it’. I just make sure its classy”. According to her Ghanaians are a bit 
wary or extremely attentive when it comes to fashion and that prompts 
her to be much careful with the things she wears, what to wear and where
 to wear them to.<br />

Nikki Samonas who was the faces of Chris Air jewelries between 2010 
to 2012, believes that contract sparked her love for jewelries. She says
 that was her biggest platform and her dream as a model is to work for  
Iman Cosmetics. She used the Lets Talk Entertainment platform to clarify
 her identity problems, which she says is a big issue for her.<br />
<br />

She says she is a Ghanaian with the native name Nana Yaa, half 
Ashanti and half Greece. Her mum is from Asante Akyem and her dad from 
Greece.<br />

One of the controversial actresses in Ghana, Nikki Samonas after calling it quit with his boyfriend and colleague actor, Eckow Smith Asante years ago has disclosed the reasons for their breakup.<br />

The beautiful actress in an interview with Delay made it known that there was no way they will reunite.<br />
<br />
Nikki Samonas in a hot interview on the Delay Show revealed that they separated on mutual grounds. The bikini queen added that the love he had for Eckow Smith Asante is no more and nothing can bring them back.<br />

“I won’t accept him even if he is given to me for free. I don’t like him anymore”<br />
<br />
She added that she has grown and will not take him back looking at where she has reached in life. Talking about why she goes in for rich boyfriends, she disclosed that she is from a poor home so she needs someone who can take good care of her.<br />

 Ghanaian actress and TV personality has been in the news for a couple of days now after she showed her boobs during the  ending of MTN 4Syte TV Music Video Awards.<br /><br />Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Madam Abla Dzifa Gomashie has taken actress and television personality, Nikki Samonas to the cleaners for revealing her boobs in public at the recently held MTN 4Syte TV Music Video Awards 2014.<br /><br />Read it below:<br /><br />Agoooo<br /><br />Tin kon kon kon tin kon!<br /><br />DEFINITION OF SHOW BUSINESS?<br /><br />I grew up learning under the feet of Efua T. Sutherland, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, Grace Omaboe and Joyce Agyapong among others. My contemporaries are Gloria Ofori, Lys Hayfron Asare, Naana Dansoa, Kwame Sefa kayi, Edinam Atatsi and Mawuli Semevo.<br /><br />Internationally Phylicia Rashad (Claire Hustible), Oprah Winfrey, Miriam Makeba, Angelique Kidjo, Anima Misa and many others were already in show business.<br /><br />There was also Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Naomi Campbell and Madonna.<br /><br />I have been in Show business for nearly 30 years. Most of the people listed here were also in show business.<br /><br />You can tell who had grooming and cared about their image and what they stood for. There are also some who were “Edgier” than most.<br /><br />Don’t, out of ignorance, paint everyone In show business as you would Rihanna, who by the way, I am not a fan of. If you think because you are in show business you have a license to walk around with your boobs popping out of your dress and short enough not to make us curious, that is your understanding.<br /><br />It is not the case that because you are in show business you can wear anything without considering the cultural setting.<br /><br />Yes by all means express yourself in thought and in deed. But, do not forget your freedom and rights are not created in a vacuum.<br /><br />..and by the way, how do you expect us to know when you are acting and when you are not acting, when every space for you is a stage.<br /><br />

Ghanaian actress, Nikki Samonas did turn heads and left tongues 
wagging over her attire as she mounted the red carpet and also on the 
stage to present an award at the 4Style TV Music Video Awards.

According to her, she sees nothing wrong with what she wore to the event – saying that; it’s no bad to dress and look ‘hot’.<br />
<br />

“This is show business; it’s normal. I am not worried about what 
people will say on what I wear. Sometimes I go cool, other times I go 
‘hot’ or normal. Those who criticize me should check themselves If they 
don’t do worse,” she hinted.<br />
<br />

The beautiful actress also revealed that, although there are cultural
 norms and societal pressures on what people put on, we shouldn’t forget
 that people also have their own norms and values and should be 
respected.<br />
<br />

“I have a mixed culture because I am not a full Ghanaian. I am of a 
mixed race, so when I speak about different cultures, that’s what I 
mean,” she explained.<br />
<br />

Nikki lamented that if it was to be a church or out-dooring service, 
she might not have donned the dress she wore to the Awards night. “It 
was for a music event. If I was going to church, I wouldn’t wear it to 
church, so it depends on where I am going to and the choice of dress. I 
don’t care about what people will say,” she exploded.<br />
<br />

When she was questioned about her main motive for wearing such dress 
and if it was intended to attract attention, she responded that, if her 
dress was not attractive, the reporter wouldn’t have approached her for 
an interview.<br />
<br />
On her coming projects as a movie/TV Star, she said that, she’s not 
interested in shooting movies now, because she is shooting a short film 
she can showcase and market at international festivals.<br />
<br />

“I am already doing a project with a renowned comedian in Ghana, 
Kalybos and also shooting a short firm based on an African story, 
designed purposely for award consideration, so, by January 2015 – I will
 surely unveil all the projects” she said.<br />
