Event management company, Spyder Lee Entertainment, on Tuesday 5th May 2015 presented winners as well as the runners up of the maiden edition of the GN Bank Awards with their prize packages.

The presentation was done at a colourful event held at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel
 in Accra and was attended by the winners, representatives of GN Bank, 
title sponsors of the awards, executives of Group Nduom and key players 
within the Ghanaian Arts and entertainment Industry.

The runners up in each category received a certificate of recognition and an investment package of GHS1,000 with the Gold Coast Fund Management.
 Winners of each category had a prize package worth GHS 5,000 (GHS3,500 
cash, a treat for two at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, Elmina and a 
certificate of recognition).

The biggest prize on the night was received by the Favourite Celebrity (Bola Ray of Starr FM)
 who received a cash amount of GHS 8,500, a treat for two at the Coconut

Multiple award-winning songstress, Becca yesterday appeared on Starr 
Chat show hosted by Bola Ray where she talked about how it all started 
for her, her secondary school days, her music career, her relationship 
life and more. 
 
 On whether she is dating and the qualities of the man, she said, “I’ve 
been dating for some years now, my boyfriend has vision, points out my 
mistakes, corrects me... He is a well-to-do man and very focused as 
well. His ability to encourage and urge me on among other stuff makes me
 cherish and love him the more”, she added. 
 
 When asked about how her boyfriend reacts to her alleged sexual 
escapade in Brazil during the 2014 World Cup where it was alleged that 
Becca had a sexual affair with the then Sports Minister, Hon. Elvis 
Afriyie Ankrah and some Black Stars players, she said, “That’s why this 
man is one of a kind, very unique. He tells me all the time that, ‘I 
don’t care what anybody says about you, you know what I mean?'” 
 
 Becca has released hit songs like ‘Daa ke daa’, No Away ft. MI, Sugar, 
Hey ba among other hit songs. She recently released a joint song with 
rapper Trigmatic called ‘Lovers and Friends’ which has started receiving
 massive airplay. She also organizes her own annual 'girls-girls' 
concert every December. 
 
 The former Wesley Girls and Gimpa student has won the hearts of many, 
most importantly because of her humbling nature, her lyrical dexterity, 
her soothing voice among others. She is also set to release another 
single soon.

Starr 103.5FM presents Nadia Buari, Naa Ashorkor and more in an upcoming intriguing movie. 
 
Naa Ashorkor, Bola Ray, Nadia Buari and other alternative gifted  actors are starring in a new gripping movie titled 'Atrocity'. 
 
The upcoming movie tells the story of an 18-year-old Nandi (South African) and her Ghanaian boyfriend Chief Bansah, 21, who decide to elope from prying parents and siblings to start a life together and build a kingdom for themselves. 
 
Little did they apprehend they might  be hit with some devastating surprises that would quickly create their lives spiral out of control in a brutal manner. 
 
The movie also stars Jon Germain, Bola Ray, DJ Blow and others. 
 
No release date has been announced for the movie.

Amidst current speculation and poaching attempts by Live Fm headed by the EIB group which owns Starr FM, Radio jock
 Joel Orleans has rejected their offer to join the Live Fm team which 
has already poached the likes of Ms Naa and Sammy Forson from YFM. 
 
Joel identified for his funky presenting style and large youth following has decided to stick with YFM and grow with the brand.

According to his PR Manager Ms Precious Bonsu, Joel’s brand is more 
suitable for YFM and he desires to stay loyal to the listeners that have
 helped him build his brand to 
this level which has attracted another stations.

Express (YCE) show is over pleased with his current employer and 
doesn’t attempt to leave anytime presently.

Black Stars skipper, Asamoah Gyan, has told Starr Chat host Bola Ray that he misses his friend and rapper Castro, very much. The Hiplife artist, whose real name is Theophilus Tagoe, went missing, along with friend Janet Bandu in July, 2014. The two, went missing early July 2014, while surfing the waves at Ada in the Greater Accra Region. Frantic search by the Marine Police did not yield any results as there was no trace of their bodies. Commenting on the issue, an emotional Gyan said he hopes to see his friend again. “Castro was a brother to me, he is such a talented guy. “He never writes his music, he just sings them. I miss him so much”. When asked by Bola Ray if he thinks Castro is dead or missing, Gyan said : “I don’t know, it’s only God that knows but sometimes I sit down and ask myself…Where is he?” he wondered.
