Actress Nana Ama Mcbrown has brushed aside an apology from Big J, a former member of the sensational hiplife group 'Praye'.<br />
<br />
 She in an exclusive interview with Mutli TV’s Rebecca Darko, insisted 
on “talking about something more important” preferring to ignore Big J 
and feigning not to know him at all.<br />
<br />
 “Who is Big J?....the Praye guy? Please let’s talk about something important. Its past and gone”<br />
<br />
 Nana Ama McBrown few months ago expressed her deep disappointment after
 the hiplife artiste failed to visit her after she was hospitalized in 
life threatening accident with boyfriend Maxwell.<br />
<br />
 She was actually on her way after a video shoot she had featured in at the request of Big J Cartel.<br />
<br />
 According to her, the accident occurred while doing a favour for friend who showed no compassion for a near fatal loss.<br />
<br />
 Nana Ama McBrown has told the media sometime ago her version of events.<br />
<br />
 “Can you believe that after that night, I didn't see that short man who
 was giving me pressure to come shoot that video again and I have never 
set eyes on him? Eugene and his wife came to the hospital twice after 
that but Praye Tiatia, he never bothered. Meanwhile he was calling my 
phone every day for the shoot”.<br />
<br />
 “That particular guy, I have told God that I don’t want to talk to him 
and I don’t want see him again in my life and I don’t want to see him 
around me”.<br />
<br />
 Cartel Big J has apologized in an open letter to the actress and has 
since dedicated his new music video “MAFIWO” featuring Akwaboah to her.<br />

Making a  movie does not only involves a massive amount of work, 
dedication and patience both from the director and actors, but also the 
crew and everyone in between. As they saying goes ‘Time is money’ the

pan-African awards. The third movie, ‘Happy Deathday’, released late

The movie which is to be premiered on March 6, 2015( Independence Day ) at the Silverbird Cinemas (Accra Mall & West Hills Mall, Weija) tells an intriguing story of love and all the complexities that come 
with it. Four couples have less than 24 hours to make or break up what 
they just started. Who will pass the test of time?<br>

Beautiful actress, Nana Ama McBrown, has said there have been several attempts to end her life while working on set.<br />

She said even though her job may look glamorous and fun, it has other life threatening downsides, Nana Ama said on TV talkshow "Restorations with Stacy" .<br />

"I've been poisoned on set twice. I was admitted at Komfo Anokye for two weeks without food. I went home with about forty drips and forty-five. Injections, I can't count. "People think they see you on TV and it's beautiful - no doubt, it is very beautiful - but the attacks that you get, you have no idea of".<br />
<br />
The Kumasi-born actress who has often spoken about her relatively "difficult" childhood said she stumbled into acting after she answered an audition call by Miracle Films. Although McBrown did not make it at the audition, she got hired to help do costuming. As fate will have it, the bubbly beauty got her chance to act the lead role for that same production.<br />
<br />
The movie, "Nsem Pii", brought her into the limelight and got her career started.<br />
<br />
Recounting the circumstances surrounding her 2014 motor accident to the hostess, Nana Ama she said she had been through many other near-death experiences in the past.<br />
<br />
"Akua [hostess], my soul 'dieerrr' not even my mother [has a hold of it]. It is for God, she said.<br />
<br />
Nana Ama who was very close friends with late actress Suzzy Williams, has carved a niche for herself in the Twi language movies and has built a strong and loyal following.<br />

interview on TV that she passionately hates Praye Tiatia, a former

accident two years ago when returning home after shooting a music video

Two years after her life threatening accident, beautiful and versatile actress Nana Ama McBrown has for the first time opened up on circumstances surrounding the tragic accident.<br />

In a very emotional interview on “Restorations with Stacy”, Nana Ama relived the most frightening moments of her life on national television, making a shocking revelation that she had the accident after doing Hiplife group Praye a favour.<br />
<br />
According to her, the accident occurred as a result of doing a favour for friend and the same friend turned his back on her when was going through trial times caused by the same favour she did.<br />
<br />
“There is something in me and I have to get it off my chest. I really have to pour it out. With the group Praye, I have something in me and I want God to forgive me. I’m been keeping something about them in me which I don’t know how to get out”.<br />
<br />
The “Madam moke” actress disclosed that she had a call from Hiplife group Praye through his boyfriend Maxwell that they (Praye) wanted her to play a role in the video of their single “Still young” and even though she didn’t really want to do it, her boyfriend Maxwell pleaded with her to do it for him because of his (Maxwell’s) relationship with the group.<br />

She revealed that contrary to earlier reports that she had the accident on her way home from a movie set, Nana said she had the accident from the set of Praye’s music video shoot.<br />
<br />
According to McBrown, she agreed to act in the video for free because Maxwell wanted her to but she even ended up spending money because the shoot was postponed countless times and she had to pay for plane tickets back and forth from Kumasi to Accra every time they try to shoot, until they finally finished shooting on that fateful Wednesday morning at about 1am.<br />

She said the group Praye, particularly Praye Tiatia aka Big J who was the one who kept calling her phone prior to the shoot, ignored her totally and didn’t even bother to visit her while on admission for about three weeks at the 37 Military hospital.<br />

McBrown however, admitted that both Praye Honeho and Praye Tiatia and Abraham Ohene Djan of Ohenemedia who directed the video, came to the hospital, immediately the accident occurred but after that, Big J who was Nana Ama’s husband in the music video never went back to check on her and he has never called her since then.<br />

“Can you believe that after that night, I didn’t see that short man who was giving me pressure to come shoot that video again and I have never set eyes on him? Eugene and his wife came to the hospital twice after that but Praye Tiatia, he never bothered. Meanwhile he was calling my phone every day for the shoot”.<br />
<br />
“That particular guy, I have told God that I don’t want to talk to him and I don’t want see him again in my life and I don’t want to see him around me”.<br />

Adding that Eugene Baah Praye Honeho (Now known as Choirmaster) and his wife Beverly Afaglo visited her a couple of times whiles she was on admission but Big J didn’t even care whether she wNana Ama McBrown as alive or dead.<br />

Ace movie actress, Nana Ama McBrown has revealed that she has not acquired any certificate in acting despite spending years in the industry.<br /><br />According to Ms McBrown, acting is a God-given talent which is more valuable than a certificate. Nana Ama disclosed this in an exclusive interview on Adom FM show Work and Happiness on Tuesday December 9, 2014.<br /><br />She broke into the acting scene in 2001 with 'Kae Dabi' and has not looked back ever since, featuring in over 200 movies.<br /><br />"I was not even the person supposed to play that role (as a blind person) in that movie, Selasi Ibrahim was to play that role but could not show up so the director asked me to try and I sailed through", she disclosed.<br /><br />Things were not always smooth sailing though. “I worked without being paid and if you will be paid it was just peanuts.
