Ghanaian international gospel act, Sonnie Badu went a great length to celebrate his wife, Ann-Marie Badu, who added one more year on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. He bought her a brand new Porsche Saloon Car.<br />

The award-winning singer, who married Ann-Marie in August 2014, took to his Instagram account later on that same day, to leave a heartwarming message for his beau, along with the photo of the brand new car.<br />

He wrote: ‘Good women don’t demand, they don’t run your pocket empty whiles you are in the process of building an empire, but rather they add some strange wish to their prayer topics and place it at a strategic place on your altar, so you can see it.<br />

UK- based Musician Sonnie Badu is to be honoured in Amsterdam as the outstanding Ghanaian in the Diaspora for the year 2014.<br /><br />The
 award comes after the Representative Council of Ghanaians in 
Netherlands (RECOGIN) unanimously voted Minister Sonnie Badu for the 
award. The honour comes with a token and some cash amount to support 
Sonnie Badu’s outstanding ministry.<br /><br />In a letter signed by the 
Chairman of  Recogin, Charles Vanderpuye and  sent to Sonnie Badu and 
his management,  the letter noted that “ Sonnie Badu  is no doubt  the 
best Gospel singer  acknowledged not only by  Ghanaians but also by 
many  African Nationals.

The Ghanaian religious youth in Amsterdam consider the name “Sonnie 
Badu” a perfect role model for all young Ghanaians in the diaspora”<br /><br />The letter invited Sonnie Badu to be present at a ceremony in Amsterdam to receive his award.<br /><br />Meanwhile
 Sonnie Badu has congratulated the Black Stars for their gallant 
performance at the just ended AFCON 2015 that was hosted by Equatorial 
Guinea.<br /><br />He stated that the stars have by their performance 
rekindled the love and support they enjoyed from their fans in Ghana and
 worldwide. <br /><br />He reiterated that “Ayekoo Black Stars, you have 
proven that when you fall it is your choice to rise again or stay down 
there. You have proven that team work pays and God has rewarded your 
efforts”</div>
