For the first time in the history of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) reality show, the Northerners have won the crown consecutively.

Bentie Abigail Baciara, the Upper West’s representative of this seasons Ghana’s Most Beautiful was on Sunday, crowned winner of the 8th edition of the TV3 organized reality show.

The five time best performer won the enviable crown after beating three other finalist from the Volta Region, Upper East Region and the Eastern Region at the Accra International Conference Centre on Sunday.

Volta Region’s Ewoe came second with Eastern Region’s Ama and Upper East’s Lamine finishing third and fourth respectively. The graduate from the University of Development Studies (UDS), Wa campus, will focus on promoting primary education in Ghana using indigenous communication, participatory and bottom up approach to develop among others as her project as winner .

Her sweet victory was as a result of her hard work throughout the weeks of stay in the reality house as well as votes from the public.

Beautiful Baci takes over the crown from her fellow Upper West Poka, who won last years edition.
For her prize, she took home GHS 10,000, a brand new car among other prizes including the beautiful crown and bragging right.


She becomes the second from the North to win the crown after Poka was  crowned last year.
Former  house mates as well as contestants of previous seasons were present to show their support to the finalist.

The audience were entertained by likes of D. Flex, Guru, Old Soldja and ‘King of the Street’ Kwaw Kese.
