song and featured Gifty Osei.  The song which is not the usual hip life 
gospel tune but a real gospel tune sees the artist portraying his

 Fennec has been murdered in cold blood for close to a year and still we
 don’t know who killed him,” Kwaw Kese expressed disappointment on 
‘Hanging out with KOD’ on GH One last Sunday.<br />

 It is one year today since the Manager of Kwaw Kese, Fennec Okyere was 
murdered at his residence in Spintex, a plush neighbourhood in Accra. 
The question of who killed Fennec is on snooze as family, friends and 
fans of the talent manager still wonder why the Police have not come out
 with a successful revelation of who the killer(s) is/are.<br />

 Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog, who is also a 
talent manager was arrested for being a prime suspect but was later 
released.<br />

Controversial Ghanaian rapper, Kwaw Kese has refused invitations from 
some of his twitter fans to step out into the full glare of the public

King of the streets, Kwaw Kese will reappear in court on February 5 2015 after the case brought against him was today Monday January 5 2015 adjourned.<br />

According to the judge, the adjournment was to help the state prosecutor better gather and prepare for the next sitting. He further stated the adjournment will help the accused, Kwaw Kese better regain his strength for commencement of trial.<br />

Embattled rapper Emmanuel Botchway, popularly known as Kwaw Kese, has been granted bail by the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Circuit Court on health grounds.<br /><br />This follows three consecutive attempts by his counsel to seek bail application for the Hiplife artiste.<br /><br />Kwaw Kese was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for the second time on December 24 after complaining of severe stomach ache. He was still on admission as at Monday night.<br /><br />Kwaw Kese's lawyer Nana Kwasi Boaitey confirmed the news in a phone interview with nydjlive.com. The website reports that a new plea was upheld by the court and they were processing papers to get Kwaw Kese out.<br /><br />Kwaw Kese was arrested on November 22 for allegedly smoking a substance suspected to be Indian hemp in public, at a drinking spot close to the popular ‘+2 Pub’ in Nhyiaeso in Kumasi.<br /><br />Kwaw Kese is said to have smiled at the decision by the judge to grant him bail. <br />Popular hiplife star Kwaw Kese who is on remand for allegedly smoking marijuana has been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.<br /><br />Luv FM's Erastus Asare Donkor reports the rapper, known better as 'Abodam' to wit the mad man, was rushed to the hospital Thursday afternoon after he complained of a stomach upset.<br /><br />He was then sent to the 'Yellow ward' which indicates his condition is not severe.<br /><br />Doctors seeing to the hiplife artiste have confirmed that he is not in critical condition.<br /><br />Prison officials are present in the hospital to keep the rapper secured.<br /><br />Abodam was arrested last month for smoking 'weed' in public.<br /><br />Attempts by his lawyers to bail the suspect have proved futile thus far. The Prosecution insists drug offences are non-bailable, a position the judge upholds.<br /><br />The judge adjourned the case to December 22, 2014 by which time the prosecution may have finished with its investigation.<br /><br />Given the avalanche of appeals to have the 'Oy3 nonsense' hit singer pardoned it is not clear how the report of his health condition will play out even though the Ashanti Regional Police Commander DCOP Kofi Boakye has promised to see through with the prosecution.<br />

The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has called for leniency in the 
case in which ace hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese has been remanded in custody
 for allegedly smoking weed in public.<br />
<br />
 The Union, in a statement released Thursday, said “much as MUSIGA is 
against the use of illicit drugs by artistes, the union is appealing to 
the judge handling the case to temper justice with mercy and consider 
the social contributions of the artiste in handling his case.”<br />
<br />
 The controversial rapper, Kwaw Kese, who was arrested by the police in 
Kumasi on Saturday, November 22, for allegedly smoking cannabis in 
public, was remanded into prison custody after making an appearance in 
court Monday, November 24<br />
<br />
 The court, presided over by Judge William Boampong, remanded him at the
 Kumasi Central Prison to reappear on December 8 after prosecutors 
argued that they were still investigating the matter.<br />
<br />
 MUSIGA, in the statement signed by Ahuma Bosco Ocansey, MUSIGA’s 
Director of Communications and Special Projects, expressed the union’s 
appreciation “for the support displayed for the hiplife artiste, 
especially the Free Kwaw Kese campaigns taking place online.”<br />
<br />
 “MUSIGA has been monitoring the developments following Kwaw’s arrest on
 Saturday November 22 in Kumasi and would like to thank all who have in 
various ways expressed their solidarity with Kwaw as well as calling for
 his freedom,” the statement added.<br />
<br />
 According to MUSIGA, since Kwaw Kese’s arrest, the Ashanti Regional 
branch chairman of the union, Aboagye Da Costa has led a delegation to 
visit him and has assured the leadership of the union of his wellbeing. 
“In addition to that, various top artistes have been in Kumasi to visit 
Kwaw.”<br />

 “Meanwhile, his lawyer is working feverishly to secure a bail for him 
when he reappears in court on December 8. It is in this light that 
MUSIGA is calling for leniency when the case is called in court again,” 
the statement concluded.<br />

 was full of grief when he got there but after having a hearty 
conversation with Kwaw Kese over 20 minutes, the smiles resumed on his 
face as well as Kwaw. A brotherly conversation it was, fully of joy.<br /><br />“We
 all are in to support on the best way we can. If there’s any help you 
think you need, please do communicate through authority and we will 
always be available. As the case is in court, we wait for positive 
results. We wish to see Kwaw come out soon, our main agenda,” Samini 
added.<br /><br />Kwaw Kese was very happy to see the HighGradeFamily crew 
visit him. He almost jumped from his seat to hug Samini. According to 
Kwaw Kese,<br /><br />“I am very happy to see my brother (Samini) and all of
 you come here all the way from Accra to see me. Samini has always been 
there for me over the years and he is still here with me in such 
challenging times. It means a lot to me. Sarkodie, Hammer and others 
also came through to see me here. <br /><br />I am very honoured. I am 
healthy and doing good. I believe everything happens for a reason. I can
 only pray things get sorted so I come out. God has a will for 
everything, no fears at all. Again I want to thank everybody putting in 
their effort to see me out of here. The Swedru brothers and sisters who 
have been out to plead for my release, I am grateful but I want them to 
be calm.

 prison authorities were happy to see Samini come through to see Kwaw 
Kese. Mammoth crowd was already waiting to see Samini after the visit. 
Like always, they wouldn’t allow Samini go unless they take photographs 
with him. Samini forced a hard smile across his face taking the 
photographs, one can still read the grief within Samini on Kwaw Kese’s 
case. <br /><br />But the best is what we all pray for. Saminifest starts on
 December 3rd. Kwaw Kese was one of the artistes billed earlier to 
perform on the show (before the unfortunate happened to him).<br />

Musician, Kwaw Kese, who is in prison custody for a drug related offence, has called on his fans and industry colleagues to remain calm as he sees through his two weeks remand term ahead of the next court date.<br /><br />In a hearty conversation with producer Hammer of the Last two (who together with Sarkodie visited him yesterday), he asked for calm, adding he has been made aware of the ongoing campaign on social media pushing for his release.<br /><br />“It is well… i am okay,” Hammer quotes him as saying. “I want all my fans to keep calm…God is control. I have been told of the campaign going on online for my release; i appreciate it.”<br /><br />Kwaw, who was arrested on the evening of last Saturday November 22 at a pub in Kumasi for smoking a substance believed to be marijuana, made his first court appearance on Monday. He was denied bail. The group calling themselves ‘Ghetto boys’ in Agona Swedru has described the detention of the ‘King of the Streets’ as unjust.<br />

The controversial hiplife artiste was on Saturday night arrested by 
the Kumasi police for allegedly smoking a substance suspected to be 
marijuana.<br />
<br />

He appeared on Monday at the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Circuit 
Court and was remanded in prison custody after a plea for bail by his 
lawyer was ignored.<br />
<br />

Kwaw Kese was remanded in police custody on Monday, to reappear on December 8 to allow for police investigations.<br />
<br />

In an interview with Kantinka FM’s Nana Amoani, the disgruntled youth
 maintained that the police erred in arresting their “hero”.<br />
<br />
<br />
They explained that Kwaw Kese is a very generous man who gives them 
money as well as buys rice and other foodstuff for them whenever he 
visits Agona Swedru. “Everyone knows Kwaw Kese smokes wee; he is the 
King of the Streets so why this arrest,” a member of the group quizzed.<br />
<br />

The Ghetto boys are therefore calling on the Inspector of Police, Mohammed Alhassan to release Kwaw Kese.<br />
<br />

“If not, we and other ghetto boys in the Central region will demonstrate to express our displeasure,” they warned.<br />

The nominees jam for the annual 4syte TV Music Video Awards came on yesterday at the Hero's Park in Kumasi with over 20,000 viewers and supporters in attendence.<br />

It was a colourful event with  spectacular performances from Kwaw Kese,Jupiter,Episode,Okomfo Kwade and many more.<br />
<br />
However,there was a mysterious incident during Gallaxy's performance.<br />
<br />
A giant dog managed its way through the crowd,disconnected the power system and started chasing people around.<br />
<br />
Gallaxy,Andy Dosty,Jay Folie,Dj Mic Smith and others who were on stage at that moment took to their heels for safety.<br />
<br />
The unfortunate incident lasted close to half an hour before the show continued.It took the intervention of the police and the military personal present to put the situation under control.<br />
<br />
However, according to some people present, it was Gallaxy,who brought the dog to support their craft and it unfortunately escaped.<br />
